Starter or appetizer with continental dishes is a common practice. In India Fish Finger is the most popular starter. Making tasty fish finger at home is very easy. It can be consumed as snacks also.

'Gandharaj' Lemon

What ingredients you need - 

For Marinate -

500 g Bhetki fish fillet
1 tsp pepper powder,
1 tsp turmeric powder, 
1 Tbsp lime juice, 
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
little salt 

Bhetki Fish fillet

For Batter -

one egg, 
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 
1-2 Big chopped onion, 
1 Tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 
1Tbsp chopped curry leaves, 
2-3 chopped green chilies, 
1 tsp (each) cumin, coriander & dry red chilli powder,
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder, 
1 Tbsp Grated skin of Gandharaj Lemon!
salt to taste
Here is your delicious Fish Finger
For coating - 
2 cup Breadcrumbs, mix well with salt,
1 tsp Gram flour, 
1 tsp corn flour, 
1 tsp black pepper powder, 
Bread Crumbs

Cooking instructions -

First marinate those fillets with marinate ingredents for 30 minutes

Make thick batter mixing well all the batter ingredients together.

Make ready coating ingredients mixed 

Put those marinated fish fillet into the batter. Mix well.
Now place these mixed fillets over breadcrumbs
coat it well, and give it desired shape pressing by hands

Fish Finger Frying

Deep fry in medium heat.
Your Fish Finger is ready!

Serve hot with Tarter, Mustard or any other sauce of your choice. Don't forget to squeeze lemon juice over Fish fingers!
