How to make BABY CORN MANCHURIAN - 
First, cut Baby corns into halves. 
Make a mix with corn flour, salt to taste, peppercorn powder, dry red chili powder, 1/2 tsp garlic paste, 1/2 tsp ginger paste.
Add water and make a thicker batter. Add vinegar and soy sauce.
Coat the corns in the batter and deep fry.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add chopped onion,chopped tomatoes, bell pepper
toss and fry.
Add garlic and ginger paste, mix well.
Add dry red chili powder, chopped green chilies,chopped spring onion, vinegar, soy sauce
salt to taste. Mix and cook well. 
Add peppercorn powder. 
Now, dissolve corn flour in water and pour. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes
Cook a little till it thicken, add fried baby corns.
Mix well with gravy.
Your BABY CORN MANCHURIAN is ready to serve!

250 gm Baby Corn (cut into half)
150 gm onion (squarely sliced)
50 gm Bell pepper (squarely sliced)
100 gm tomato (squarely sliced)
100 gm spring onion
2 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
5 tbsp corn flour
1 tsp peppercorn powder
2 tbsp White oil (for gravy)
150 ml water (for gravy)
150 ml White oil (for corn fry)
salt to taste
1 tsp dry red chili powder
2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp ginger paste
4-5 green chili

How to make Vegan Chidwa Pulao or Flattened Rice Upma

Nice tasty. Quick & easy to make. Very healthy to eat! What else a mom wants! 
As a mom, me too, often make this for my family. Children never tell 'No' to this! Husband just can't gets up from dining table! other members of my family, thanks me, everytime I make it!
You too know this trick - how to make everyone happy! 


Ingredients - 
(Serving 4, prep time: 20 min, cooking time: 10 min)

200 gm Poha/Chidwa/Chire (flattened rice)
2 tbsp(50 gm) peanut 
2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp gram dal
2 tsp cashew
2 tsp raisin
3-4 green chili (slit)
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
1 lime juice
for seasoning 
2-3 dry red chili
1/2 tsp black mustard seed
1/2 tsp cumin seed
pinch of asafoetida
20-25 curry leaves
How to make - 
Soak and rinse Chidwa (flattened rice). 
Heat oil in a pan. Add seasoning - dry red chili, black mustard seed, cumin seed, pinch of asafoetida, curry leaves. Saute a little.
Add peanut, chopped onion, garlic, gram dal, cashew, raisin, slit green chili, turmeric powder. Mix, stir and cook for 2 mins. 
After 2-3 minutes, ad soaked chidwa (flattened rice). Mix well, all these. Here add salt to taste and sugar. cook for 1 min.
Now sprinkle 1 tbsp water and cook covered for just 2 min.
Chidwa pulao or Gluten-free, vegan, tasty Flattened Rice Upma ready!
Sprinkle lime juice and serve!

Bihar Style THEKUA Recipe - CHHATH PUJA SPECIAL(Hindi)


छठ पूजा उत्तर भारत तथा नेपाल के एक महत्वपूर्ण त्यौहार हैं।  कार्तिक शुक्ला षष्ठी के दिन यह मनाया जाता हैं। छठ पूजा एक ऐसा श्रेष्ठतम पर्व हैं जहाँ डूबते हुए सूर्य से प्रार्थना करते हुए व्रत का प्रारंभ होता है एवं सूर्योदय कि पूजा के पश्चात व्रत सम्पूर्ण होता हैं "जैसे कि जीवन के संचालन के लिए रात्रि का उतना ही महत्व है जितना दिन का"
इस पावन अबसर पर आज मैंने एक बहोत उमदा रेसिपी दिखाउंगी जो यह  त्यौहार छठ पर्व  के दौरान अबश्य बनाया जाता हैं! यह हैं ठेकुआ! इसे खाजुर भी बोलते हैं! (नीचे वीडियो देखना न भूलिये)
मैंने, 20 -25 ठेकुए बनाने के लिए, ली हैं -  
200 ग्राम गुड़
200 ग्राम  घी 
300 ग्राम गेहूं के आटा
एक कप मेवा (सुखा फल)
100 ग्राम किसा हुआ नारियल
आधा चम्मच इलायची पाउडर 

चलिए देखते हैं कैसे बनाया जाता हैं यह प्रसाद - 
पहले आप एक चम्मच घी ख़ामीर के हिसाब से आटा में डाल दीजिये। अच्छे से मिला लीजिये।  
इसबार एक एक करके बाकि सारा सामान मिला दीजिये - इलायची पाउडर, गुड़, किसा हुआ नारियल, मेवा।
एक कप पानी मिलाकर कसकर आटे के ठोश लोई बना लीजिये। पानी डालने के समय थोड़ा थोड़ा पानी डालिये, नहीं तो आटे के लोई पतला हो सकते हैं। 
अब अपने मन पसन्द साइज़ में छोटे छोटे टुकड़े करके हाथों से पिसकर ठेकुआ बना लीजिये। 

अब गहरा तलने के लिए कड़ाई में उचित मात्रा में घी डालिये। 
 घी पिघल ने के बाद,  धीमी आंच में यह ठेकुआ को तलिये। 
धीमी आंच में यह तलना, हमेशा अच्छे होते हैं, ता कि अंदर-बाहर बंड़िया तरह पकते हैं। 




जैसे यह खाजुर गहरे भूरे रंग में बदल जायेगी  - मतलब तलना पूरे हो चुके हैं।  अब इसे घी में से निकल लीजिये।  
आपके कुरकुरे, स्वादिष्ट  ठेकुए पूरे तैयार।

MANGAL KALASH SWEETS RECIPE - Diwali Special Sweets Dish | Holy Pot Sweets Recipe

Making sweets at home in Diwali, is an age old Indian tradition! Diwali or Festival of Lights celebration is very special for every Indian! 
Foods, gifts, decoration are seen everywhere to celebrate this Grand Occasion!
This year, I present, MANGAL KALASH or MONGOL GHOT - a special Sweet Dish, that I innovate. Please don't forget to tell me your views in comment! Happy Diwali!

Ingredients - 
500 ml full cream milk
250 gm Khoya or Mawa
150 gm sugar (powdered)
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
7-8 Almond (optional)
2 tbsp chocolate sauce
Method - 
(Must watch the video below to see the step by step method)
Boil the milk and thicken. 
Heat a pan. Put Khoya or Mawa in it. Add thickened milk little by little. Stir continuously till Khoya or Mawa gets smoothly mixed up, without any lump. 
Keep the flame low.
When this mixture gets thicken, add powdered sugar. Stir and cook for another 7-8 minutes. 
Add, cardamom powder. Mix well. Cook till the mixture forms like dough and leaves the floor of the pan. Here, the white mixture will turn little creamy color.
Then, put off flame. 
Rest this mixture in room temperature till hardened.
When this mixture get hardened, give it shapes like pots.
Fill the pot with Chocolate sauce and chopped cardamom.
Serve this sweet dish to your family and friends!
