Tapioca Sagoo Pulao - Nice and tasty

My mom used to say, Children couldn't grow stronger without eating Sagoo. But we didn't like! She used to feed us sagoo by making this. I carry it on with my children! It's very easy to make. Looks nice, like clear crystal. Tastes equally nice. Favorite with all children to elder.
Make it in 5 minutes either for children's tiffin or afternoon snacks. Everyone will be happy.
com'n! Let's make it now!

Ingredients -

500 g bigger grain Sagoo

1 medium size potato (squarely diced)
1 Tsp Mustard
1 Tbsp Mustard oil
2 tbsp chopped coconut (chopped)
2 tbsp onions (chopped)
2 tbsp soaked gram dal/urad dal
2-3 chopped green chili
1 chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 Tbsp crushed peanuts
1 tsp curry leaves
1 lime juice
salt to taste

Method -
Soak the bigger grain sagoo for 5-6 hrs. Heat 1 Tbsp oil. Fry squarely diced potatoes. put lid on for quick fry.
when frying is 60% done take it out of the pan. keep aside.
Now put mustard seeds and curry leaf in the oil.
Add finely chopped coconut, onions, add 2 tbsp soaked gram dal. Alternatively you could use urad dal.
Add chopped green chili, salt to taste.
Add one chopped bell pepper. Don't fry bell pepper too much, it's nice flavor would be vanished if you fry too much.
After it, put soaked Sagoo. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. Cooking should be done in simmer. Add crushed peanuts, fried potatoes.
Mix and put lid on for 2-3 minutes.
You will see the white Sagoo grains will change to nice translucent balls! Sprinkle lime juice on it!
It's juicy look is just irresistible!
So, make it today!
